Favorite Pics

I have a few favorite pictures I would like to share with you.

The first picture is Gary & Isabella standing at the fence watching the cows on the pasture behind our house.

The second picture is Isabella sleeping in her stroller. This picture is a few months old, but I was just able to move it from my cell phone to the PC.

The third picture is from our trip to the beach a few weeks ago. Isabella was so tired and fell asleep in Gary's arms. She would have slept longer if Gary hadn't moved to eat his ice cream. How selfish of him to want to eat it while we all were enjoying ourselves. And it was his birthday :-)

This is one of my favorites. Isabella looks so grown up.

Funny Girl

Isabella is a silly girl. She makes us laugh many times and keeps us entertained. Where does she get it from? We are both so serious????

Right now she likes to climb into everything. It doesn’t matter if she fits in it or not. Just look at her.

Being on the cell and riding the truck? Multitasking baby!

At some point of time we showed her how to say cheers and bang your cups together. Every time she has now her sippy cup and sees us with a cup or glass she says “Cheers” and bangs her cup against ours. Even though I am German she is not drinking any beer!

Next Milestone: Stacking, sorting, helping

Last week Isabella surprised me totally. I was playing with her on the floor and building a tower and jus waiting for her to knock it over again. But instead she stacked one Lego block on top of the tower. From that moment it just went on. She tried building her own towers. She can say and understand the word tower and that encourages her. Every time she was successful (sometimes with a little help) we clapped our hands and said:”Yeah!” Go figure now she claps her hands says yeah every time she stacks a block. The next thing she started was using the sorter. For this she still needs some help recognizing the shapes and fitting the different blocks through the sorter. She still likes knocking over stuff but is not only Miss Destructo anymore.

Water Baby

The summer brings the wonderful opportunity to spend lots of time in the water. This summer has been really hot so we decided to get a little 5 ft Ø pool.

A week later we went to the beach to see Grandma and the aunts from Niagara Falls. Even though Isabella was scared of the waves she had fun in the water and playing in the sand.

Bath time is also always fun. Isabella loves to splash and play with her squeeze toys.

See for yourself.
